The Springboks’ abundance of lineout options have limited the number of appearances for Orie, who played a starring role for the Emirates Lions in the Vodacom Super Rugby and domestic competitions. He has since moved back to Cape Town after signing for the DHL Stormers, while previously he also enjoyed an overseas stint with the Ospreys. Orie made his debut in the Springboks’ Test versus Wales on June 2, 2018 in Washington.
