Is there currently a way to search results?

For example, if I search "Salah", a popular footballer like "Mohammed Salah" isn't usually in the top 3 or 4 results.
Is there currently a way to sort the results by a metric like popularity?

Currently no way to do that at API level, but on the client side you could perhaps sort the results you get by ID. The most popular sports people will have lower ID's most of the time.
