Help with Tennis events

I am working on figuring out the best way to add this year's Australian Open events to the site. I think I've got the format used historically down, but in the process have created three "zombie" events that don't need to be in the database. How do I remove these three event IDs?

Additionally, i can add this to the developer section, but what are the chances of getting data fields add to events for players? For tennis matches, I could see something generic like player_one and player_two. Right now, I'm just splitting the event name on "vs" and looking the player up by name. That works, but there's a lot of room for error there
