round 16 is used in World Cup league for 1/8 Finals.

Can you lock that in, just like the other round numbering like 'Quarter Final (125)', 'Semi-Final' for 150, etc.

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking for, but yes for the world cup you can 'lock-in' r16 as being used for the 1/8 round. In English the round i referred to as the 'round of 16' which is why it's been used.

On the page: https://www.thesportsdb.com/api.php there is a list:

Round 125 = Quarter-Final
Round 150 = Semi-Final
Round 160 = Playoff
Round 170 = Playoff Semi-Final
Round 180 = Playoff Final
Round 200 = Final
Round 500 = Pre-Season

And I also see 1/8 final as text in the World Cup league on the site, so I'm asking if I can rely on r16 being 1/8 final across all leagues now and if so, if you can make it explicit on the api page/documentation.

I never fixed the "last 16" round as it seemed to be not important at the time. I was just assuming people would use the round 4, 5 etc up until the quarter finals.

But its entirely up to who adds the data really. As long as its sequential and goes up then I guess its ok to use.

How is it about for Round of 32?

E.g. in Euroleague, I have to look for r=0 to find the correct matches. That's not the nicest solution from my point of view. It would be great to have a common rule like the ones you mentioned above also for "Round of 16" and "Round of 32".

Yeh I think its best to use consecutive rounds until we get to the quarter finals.
