England & United Kingdom Leagues

Hi there,

I was asking Zag about the possibility of merging the England & United Kingdom leagues as if you want to find the carabao cup and FA Cup are under the United Kingdom while Premier League, EFL league and pretty much any other English football league are all under England. Would anyone have issue with the merging of these two league categories?

There are other sports under United Kingdom such as ice hockey but they could be categorized under England or England under United Kingdom.

Thanks yes I am all up for normalization, it needs to be correct though with things like FA cup ect having Welsh teams in.

Does anyone else have any comment on this one?

Wouldn't that affect European competitions also, where it's important to display that a team is from England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland?

I don't think it's worth it for the three Welsh teams that play in the EFL and two non-league teams.

Or have I got this the wrong way around and you want the cups to change to England rather than UK?
