Hi, i've been using the API for some times and suddenly it stopped working because it's a patreon thing only now? Bit of a bummer, even if i understand the reasoning behind it.
Will the $2/month be able to retrieve it?

Hi yeh, we kept it as long as possible but it was causing the whole site to slow down in the evenings. Literally over a million hits in 24hrs on the "test developer key" to that API method. I really wish people just listened and used it in development rather than production but sadly they did not, so I had to block the feature. I've tried to keep virtually all the other features free.

$5 is the only tier for sports. Its $50 a year(with the discount) which is about a quarter of the price of most APIs

1 million hits sounds like a huge number but as pure data it's only json so it's not that much.

I wasn't aware of that dev thing, i don't remember seeing it in the API Tutorial page but maybe it was.

$5 / month just to get some results and next games is way too much for me.
I would have paid $1 without question especially now since all the dev around your API is finished and we're in production, was thinking of paying $2 but $5 is just no, sorry (it's a small project with only two users goofing around)

Would you maybe be open putting up a free or maybe $1/ month patreon but that has a limited number of montly api accesses? That would be dope.
