I think there is a need for a new set of endpoints based on rounds. It can be useful to know the number of rounds and the start and end dates of a particular round without necessarily needing all the matches in that round.
At the moment I think the only way to find it out is to get all events and sort them based on round which is not ideal.
This data is available on API football so should be easy enough to port over?

It should be possible but we need to be careful on re-schedualed events. Sometimes events can be postponed and rounds come later in the year.

Knowing the full number of rounds should be easy enough though. I will add to the V2 request list.

Yeah resceduled and postponed games are a real pain.
I think there needs to be a real think about how to handle them, either leave them in their original allotted round and have the round start and end dates be dynamic to calculate the first and last games. Or move the game to another round that matches their new rescheduled date.

I think the first is the best option since often you know a game will be postponed without a new date so where would you move it? And it avoids having some rounds with 9 fixtures and others with 11 given a regular 10 fixture round like the premier league.

So long as the fixture itself is marked as postponed then the date can be updated later.
