hello everyone,

I have some questions about API. I want to retrieve informations about soccer team in powerBI.
It's the first time i use an API, and i'm not sure to full understand.
It is possible to directly retrieve table ?
I test all the URL in API tutorial, but every time i have to enter an ID or team name to get informations. I want to know if it's possible to get all the table [Player] ; [Team] ... in one URL/request ?
I see table entry in python module.

I ask you that because i use powerBI and i would like to create a kind of visual report, with my own selection of team, player ...
But create many URL for each teams, players is long.
Maybe the amount of data is too big to do that or i have to become a Patreon ?

Sorry if my question seems stupid, i try to learn and uderstand but i'm a little bit lost

Thank you in advance

Hi Capss,

Well I am not sure about PowerBI (I really need to learn it myself for work but not tried yet) but the site is capable of sending whole chunks of data yes.

The JSON is really just a table of data. I would start with saving that data to a local file and manipulating it from there. A useful tool is json view in chrome for this. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... iibnhdgobh

If you want to return all players from a single team for example, then you would need to be a Patreon supporter yes, but the free tier has loads of data as well to test with beforehand.

I'd be interested in your results as I have often wondered about running some analysis on the soccer data. For example how many players are left and right footed could be quite interesting. Or what clubs they trained at at youth level.

Thanks for your answer.

Ok i understand. Yes i would like to create some original measure.

I have more questions about how to get informations :

Show ALL events from season (developer key is limited to 250 events). Usefull for MLB and NHL listings.

If i change 4424 by 4328 to retrieve english premier league, event is null (because i need to be patreon ?)

Last question, if i want to search a tennis match Djokovic vs Nadal how can i do this ?
I have the ID league 4464, but if i use view by event i have a description of the event but not all the confrontations ...

I try to understand the operation and link between table

NOTE: Tennis results are a bit lacking at the moment as we are still trying to work out how to add the data in a uniform way.
