Hello sir Zag , i would like to update that some info regarding the premier league clubs standings are not correct and that goes for goalsfor and goals agaisnt and goalsdifference , upon checking the official websites of the premier league and some other websites , the standing of some teams in the premier league are not correct and that impacted the standings of teams :

Here are examples :

(premiere league site )

Leicester City

6 3 2 1 8 5 +3 11 ( Goals for 8 - goalagainst 5 = goals difference = +3)

( Api standing )
Leicester city
6 3 2 1 13 6 +7 11 ( Goals for 13 - goalagainst 6 = goals difference = +7)

and the issue could go with other teams too thankx

Yes as explained before this is a known issue, and not easy to fix. It is on the list though.

I am still looking into this one, its quite complicated as mentioned.

For my own reference, here is a test PHP code that seems to work.
