LiveScores Auto-Sync

Hi,

Sorry if this is an ignorant question, but I was just wondering if theres any reason why only a few games in the DB correctly map up to the livescores feed? I've seen a few events such as in the MLS and Brasilerio where the livescores has automatically updated the event in the db, but more recently, some (including MLS) don't pull through at all to the db.

I've factored in a method on my side to map the two together but I was just wondering if theres anything I'm missing from the db.

The livescore feed data comes from an external provider, the source is XML Soccer, so we are at the mercy of their feed. We do store the Soccer-XML ID so it should map any soccer team to the Livescore JSON data.

To be honest, during the summer break things tend to go downhill, but during the normal season everything should work pretty well from experience. Its quite hard to test during the next 2 months as there are not many matches.

Next season I will look at hooking into more feeds for accuracy since we are getting some good support on patreon recently we can probably afford it.
