Description The Bermuda Championship is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour that debuted in October/November 2019 as part of the 2020 season. The tournament is played at the Port Royal Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, in Southampton Parish, Bermuda. It is played as an alternate event to the WGC-HSBC Champions. The prize fund will be US$3,000,000.
American Brendon Todd claimed a four-shot win at the inaugural Bermuda Championship after a terrific final round.
The 34-year-old went into the day two strokes behind Harry Higgs but a brilliant front nine set the stage for a round of nine under par to leave him on 24 under for the event.
After a par at the first hole, Todd notched seven-successive birdies.
