La nazionale di calcio dell'Austria (in tedesco: österreichische Fußballnationalmannschaft), posta sotto l'egida della österreichischer Fußball-Bund, è la rappresentativa calcistica dell'Austria ed una fra le più antiche del mondo.

Nel suo palmarès figurano un terzo posto ed un quarto posto al campionato mondiale (rispettivamente nel 1954 e nel 1934), un argento olimpico (nel 1936) ed una vittoria nella Coppa Internazionale (nel 1932). Complessivamente conta sette partecipazioni alle fasi finali del mondiale e due alle fasi finali dell'europeo, competizione dove è stata eliminata al primo turno in entrambe le circostanze. Esordì in una fase finale dell'europeo in occasione dell'edizione del 2008, co-ospitata insieme alla Svizzera.

Nella classifica mondiale della FIFA, istituita nell'agosto 1993, il miglior piazzamento dell'Austria è il 10º posto occupato dal marzo al giugno 2006, mentre il peggior piazzamento è il 105º posto del luglio 2008. Occupa il 23º posto[1].

The Ernst-Happel-Stadion, known as Praterstadion until 1992, sometimes also called Wiener-Stadion, is a football stadium in Leopoldstadt, the 2nd district of Austria's capital Vienna. With 50,865 seats, it is the largest stadium in Austria. It was built between 1929 and 1931 for the second Workers' Olympiad to the design of German architect Otto Ernst Schweizer. The stadium was renamed in honour of Austrian footballer Ernst Happel following his death in 1992. The stadium hosted seven games in UEFA Euro 2008, including the final which saw Spain triumph over Germany.

The stadium is owned by the City of Vienna (Municipal Department 51 – Sports of the City of Vienna). It is managed by the Wiener Stadthalle Betriebs und Veranstaltungsgesellschaft m.b.H., a subsidiary of Wien Holding. It is a UEFA Category 4 stadium, and as such, it is the home of the Austrian national team. It also hosts the Viennese clubs' games in Europa League.
