The Plymouth Raiders, officially called Plymouth University Raiders for sponsorship reasons, is South-west England's leading basketball team. Based in the city of Plymouth, they play their home games at the Pavilions arena and have competed in the top-tier British Basketball League since 2004. Prior to this, Raiders were the longest serving and most successful team of EBL Division 1. The franchise also operates Plymouth Marjon, a development programme in partnership with University of St Mark & St John, with several teams competing in various divisions of the English Basketball League.

Plymouth Pavilions is an entertainment and sports complex in Plymouth, Devon, England. It has an ice rink, Live Café and arena. The arena is used for corporate hire and as an entertainment venue.

The Pavilions is built on the site of the former Millbay railway station that is directly opposite the Duke of Cornwall Hotel. The granite pillars which can be seen outside the main entrance were once the gate posts to the station.
