Jan Rutta (born July 29, 1990) is a Czech professional ice hockey defenceman for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Rutta won back-to-back Stanley Cups with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2020 and 2021.
Following four seasons within the Lightning organization, Rutta left as a free agent and was signed to a three-year, $8.25 million contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins on 13 July 2022
