David Brown Gilbert (born 12 June 1981) is an English professional snooker player. Gilbert is a former World Snooker Young Player of Distinction and practises in Tamworth, Staffordshire, at Tamworth Cue Sports Leisure Club. Having never previously been beyond the last 16 of a ranking event, Gilbert reached the final of the 2015 International Championship where he lost 5–10 to John Higgins. On the 22nd of January 2019 he made history by making the 147th official maximum in a professional match against Stephen Maguire in a Championship League match with no audience present for the occasion.
