Nicholas William Markakis (born November 17, 1983) is an American former professional baseball right fielder. On March 12, 2021, prior to the start of the 2021 season, Markakis announced his retirement after 15 years in the MLB..
He previously played for the Baltimore Orioles from 2006 to 2014. Markakis is a three-time Gold Glove Award winner, and he won a Silver Slugger Award and was named an MLB All-Star in 2018. Markakis holds the MLB record for consecutive games without making an error (398).
