It has been played at a variety of courses; from 2019 to 2023 it was played at Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, Indiana. From 2024 to 2028, it will be played at the Pete Dye Course at French Lick Resort.The format changed in 2023 where thirty PGA Tour cards are awarded at the end of the season. The Tour Championship features the top 75 players from the Korn Ferry standings and those in the field are guaranteed at minimum full Korn Ferry Tour status for the next season.
