The first new major tournament will take place at the Pecanwood Golf & Country Club, South Africa's first Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, from 10-13 March 2022. This adds to the country's strong presence on the European Tour's schedule, with a total of six South African tournaments now co-sanctioned by the Sunshine Tour and European Tour. The event takes place Mar 10-13 and has a prize fund of USD 1,500,000 and the field of 156 professionals will be split between the two Tours. 1401579
