<plot>The 2020 PGA Championship is the 102nd edition of the PGA Championship, and the first of golf's three major championships played in 2020. It is being held August 6–9 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, California, having originally been scheduled for May 14–17. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is the first major played in over a year, and has no spectators in attendance.
This is the first time Harding Park has held a major championship. It has previously held the 2015 WGC-Match Play Championship, won by Rory McIlroy, the 2009 Presidents Cup won by the United States, and the 2005 WGC-American Express Championship won by Tiger Woods. Before the COVID-19 pandemic it was planned to host up to 40,000 spectators per day at Harding Park.

Dustin Johnson takes lead with England's Paul Casey two shots behind. Former world number one Dustin Johnson charged into the lead on a thrilling third day at the 2020 US PGA Championship in San Francisco.</plot>
