Description

PRIDE.2 was a mixed martial arts event held on March 15, 1998, at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan.

Background:
A total of eight fight were held in this event, including two kickboxing bouts. Initially, the main event was scheduled for Royce Gracie vs. Mark Kerr, but due to Royce's absence , it was changed to Branko Cikatic and promoted as K-1 champion vs. UFC champion. This event also marked the PRIDE debut of Kazushi Sakuraba. The originally announced schedule was scheduled for January 15th, but it was postponed for two months due to Royler Gracie's injury.
